Perfumes by By Kilian

The house

By Kilian was founded in 2007 in Paris (France) by Kilian Hennessy, a member of the Hennessy cognac dynasty who trained in perfumery at ISIPCA in Versailles (France) before launching his own house. The founding concept was built around two axes: transparency about the cost and composition of luxury perfumery, and a refillable bottle system that positioned sustainability alongside premium positioning.

The house works with a small rotating selection of independent perfumers and external houses, including Alberto Morillas, Calice Becker and Sidonie Lancesseur among others. Collections are organized into themed clusters rather than a single undifferentiated line, each built around a specific olfactive or narrative concept. By Kilian was acquired by Estee Lauder Companies in 2016.

On Osmetheca, By Kilian is represented by one fragrance: Good Girl Gone Bad (2012), signed by Alberto Morillas, a white floral dominated by tuberose and rose. The composition exemplifies the house's capacity to commission high-concentration floral compositions with strong projection and durability.
