The house
Maison Francis Kurkdjian was founded in 2009 in Paris (France) by Francis Kurkdjian and Marc Chaya. Kurkdjian trained at ISIPCA and worked for major fragrance houses before launching his own label, where he retains full creative control over the compositions. The house positions itself at the intersection of haute couture craft and contemporary luxury perfumery.
LVMH acquired Maison Francis Kurkdjian in 2017. Despite the acquisition, the house retained its independent distribution and creative positioning. Baccarat Rouge 540 (2014), originally created for a Baccarat crystal anniversary, became one of the most widely recognized niche fragrances of the decade, generating a significant secondary market and wide cultural reach.
On Osmetheca, Maison Francis Kurkdjian is represented by two fragrances: Baccarat Rouge 540 (2014), composed by Francis Kurkdjian, an amber floral with jasmine and saffron; and Oud Satin Mood (2015), also by Kurkdjian, a rich oud rose oriental.
