The house
Ormonde Jayne was founded in 2002 in London (United Kingdom) by Linda Pilkington. The house opened its first boutique in the Royal Arcade on Old Bond Street and established itself within the London niche perfumery scene as an artisan producer with a focus on unusual natural materials and its own laboratory extraction work. The house signature use of hemlock wood (Tsuga canadensis) distinguishes several of its compositions.
Ormonde Jayne works primarily with perfumer Geza Schoen and distributes through its own boutiques and a small selection of international stockists. The house has maintained an independent ownership and production model since its founding, resisting acquisition and keeping batch sizes small.
On Osmetheca, Ormonde Jayne is documented through its house profile. No individual fragrance profiles have been published at this stage. Profiles will be added in a future production cycle.
