Perfumes by Parfum d'Empire

The house

Parfum d'Empire was founded in 2003 in Paris (France) by Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, a Corsican perfumer who trained in Morocco and built the house around his own compositions. The name references the French First Empire period and the global trade routes in raw materials that characterized that era, a conceptual frame that informs both the aesthetics and the sourcing approach.

Corticchiato signs all Parfum d'Empire compositions and maintains a close involvement in raw material sourcing, particularly for resins and woods from the Middle East and North Africa. The house distributes through specialist niche retailers and is recognized within the enthusiast community for dense, resinous compositions with strong material focus.

On Osmetheca, Parfum d'Empire is represented by one fragrance: Ambre Russe (2004), composed by Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, a rich amber Russian-style oriental built around birch tar, benzoin and vanilla.
