The house

Yves Saint Laurent was founded in 1961 in Paris (France) by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. The fashion house entered fragrance in 1964 and produced a series of historically significant compositions, including Y, Rive Gauche and Opium. YSL Beaute is now operated by L'Oreal, which acquired the fragrance and cosmetics license in 2008.

The YSL fragrance catalog spans a long history from classical feminines to contemporary masculine releases and recent artistically positioned entries. Babycat (2022), composed by Dominique Ropion and Claire Liégent, represents one of the more distinctive recent releases, exploring the powdery and watery white musk direction within a minimalist floral structure.

On Osmetheca, Yves Saint Laurent is represented by one fragrance: Babycat (2022), composed by Dominique Ropion and Claire Liégent, a powdery white musk floral from the Or Du Désert collection.
